After 72 Years In Pakistan's Sialkot, Hindu Temple Re-Opens
A 1000-year-old Hindu temple located in Sialkot, Pakistan, which was sealed for the last 72 years, has now re-opened for devotees. The official news reported, that the step was taken on the direction of Pakistan PM Imran Khan. Sardar Teja Singh was built a Shawala Teja Singh Temple which was closed during partition.

After a mob damaged in 1992, Hindus stopped visiting the temple, while protesting against the demolition of the Babri mosque in India. Pakistan's Deputy Commissioner Bilal Haider said people are free to visit anytime. The Pakistan government said that the work to restore and preserve the temple will start soon.

Phagu Chauhan Sworn In As Bihar Governor
An official said, on Monday (29th July 2019), the Phagu Chauhan was sworn in as the 40th Governor of Bihar. The Phagu Chauhan aged 71 succeeded Lalji Tandon, who is now the Governor of Madhya Pradesh (MP). He was managed the oath by Patna High Court Chief Justice Amreshwar Pratap Sahi at a program held at Raj Bhawan here in the presence of CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, besides several Ministers.

Phagu Chauhan, a 6th time MLA from Ghosi Assembly constituency in UP's Mau district, had resigned from the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Friday (26th July 2019).

Anandiben Patel Takes Oath As UP Governor
Today (29th July 2019, Monday), Anandiben Patel took oath as Uttar Pradesh governor. High Court Chief Justice Govind Mathur managed her the oath at the Raj Bhawan in Lucknow. Anandiben Patel was serving as the Governor of MP (Madhya Pradesh) when Anandiben was given the new role.

BS Yediyurappa Wins Karnataka Trust Vote
The Bharatiya Janata Party government led by BS Yediyurappa won the trust vote in the Karnataka assembly today (29th July 2019) after a serious, 3-week power struggle, which saw 18 lawmakers bring down the 14 months old coalition government of the H.D. Kumaraswamy and Congress.

Last evening (28th July 2019), the last of the coalition's rebel lawmakers were disqualified by the Speaker K.R. Ramesh Kumar, who resigned after the trust vote today (July 29, 2019). Mr. Yediyurappa said, that he would not be involved in the politics of revenge as he believed in the forget and forgive principle.

International Tiger Day

International Tiger Day
Every year on 29th July, an International Tiger Day has been held since 2010 when it was first created at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit. The Tiger Day was done to raise awareness of the decline of wild tiger numbers, leaving them on the edge of destruction and to promote the celebration around the important work of Tiger security.
