- The candidates who successfully completed a Degree in Engineering (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering or it's equivalent from any recognized University/ Board, can eligible to apply for UPSC CDS 2 Examination 2019.

- The maximum marks allotted to the UPSC CDS 2 written examination and to the interviews will be equal for each course.
- Indian Military Academy: 300 marks
- Indian Naval Academy: 300 marks
- Air Force Academy: 300 marks
- Officers Training Academy: 200 marks
- The aspirants are not permitted to use a calculator/ mathematical and drawing instruments/ Log Tables/ Stencils of maps/ Slide Rules/ Rough Sheets/ Test Booklets for answering objective type papers (Test Booklets).
- Also, Mobiles/ Phones/ Bluetooth or any other communication/ electronic devices are not allowed inside the UPSC CDS 2 examination hall.
- Aspirants should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers (One Third (0.33)).
- If a question is left blank, then there is no penalty mark.
- For both marking and writing answers in the OMR sheet, you must use black ball point pen only.
- Pencil/ Inkpen/ any other color are prohibited.

Allowance Details:
- The UPSC CDS 2 pay scale details are clearly provided in the notification as rank wise and pay level wise. If you want to know the remuneration, then go through the UPSC CDS 2 Notification 2019.
General Instruction for UPSC CDS Exam II:
- Applicants are required to apply only online by using the UPSC official website i.e. upsconline.nic.in.
- Aspirants for the Naval Academy Course or Indian Military Academy Course or Officer's Training Academy or Indian Air Force Academy Course, Chennai (Madras) must undertake not to marry until they complete their full training.
- After admission to the courses, candidates will not be considered for any other commission. They will also not be permitted to appear for any other interview or examination after they have been finally selected for UPSC CDS ii training courses.
- Applicants should avoid submitting more than one UPSC CDS II application.
- The UPSC has introduced the provision of withdrawal of application for the applicants, who do not want to appear at the CDS 2 Examination, may withdraw their application.
- The request for generating OTP for withdrawal of the UPSC CDS 2 application will be accepted only on 22-07-2019 till 5:30 PM.
How to Apply:
- Applicants are required to apply online by using the official website.
- You have to complete the UPSC CDS 2 Online Application form containing 2 stages (Part I and Part II).
- First, complete the Part I which requires all the essential details of candidates such as Name, Father Name, Mother Name, Address, and etc.
- Make a payment of UPSC CDS ii online registration.
- Next upload your recent scanned photograph and signature in the jpg/ jpeg format do not exceed 300 KB and not less than 20 KB.
- Finally, submit the filled online application form and move on to the Part II registration by using the Part I registration ID and DOB.
