Chinese President Xi Jinping today (27th June 2019) arrived in Osaka, Japan to attend the G-20 summit during which Jinping would hold bilateral talks with world leaders like Indian United States President Donald Trump and PM Narendra Modi amid heightened trade tensions with America, an issue that is likely to dominate the event.

Mr. Xi is due to meet PM Narendra Modi during the Informal Summit of the leaders of Russia, Brazil, India, China, and South Africa on the sidelines of the 28th and 29th June event. The Chinese President Xi Jinping is also expected to hold crucial talks with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G-20 summit meeting over the weekend.

Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics astronomer has claimed, India's anti-satellite missile created the debris when it shot down one of the country's own satellites in a test earlier this year 2019 is still floating around the Earth. Within 45 days, DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) had said at the time of the test that it expects all debris to "vanish".

The scientist said, even after 92 days of the missile test, dozens of pieces of the destroyed satellite are still spinning around the planet.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli broke previous Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar's record to become the fastest to score 20,000 international runs, a target he reached when he scored 37 runs in the ICC World Cup 2019 match against the West Indies on Thursday (27th June 2019).

Kohli played only 417 innings to achieve this record which includes 131 in Tests, 62 in T20Is and 224 in ODIs. Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar previous best came off 453 innings each. Virat Kohli has now registered 6,613 Test runs, 11,124 runs in ODIs and 2,263 in T20Is.
