Pak Issues Order To Freeze Assets, Travel Ban On Masood Azhar
After the United Nations declared him a "global terrorist", Pakistan has issued an official order to freeze the assets and impose travel ban on Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar. The order issued on Wednesday (1st May 2019), the foreign ministry said, that the Federal Government is happiness to order that the Resolution 2368 (2017) be fully implemented against JeM chief Masood Azhar.

According to the notification, the government directed official's to take actions as appropriate for the implementation of sanctions against the Jaish-e-Mohammed chief. Masood Azhar is also banned from purchasing or selling ammunition and arms.

G Madhavan Nair Former ISRO chairman said, that India's 2nd lunar mission Chandrayaan 2 is scheduled to be launched between 9th July and 16th July and it will look for specific minerals on the surface of the moon. He also said, that the Chandrayaan 2 is going to be an exciting mission as far as the Indian space programme is related.

In 2008, we had sent our 1st satellite to the moon successfully and it has collected so many details about the surface of the moon and it's mineral contents and so on. Also, India had the opportunity to place the Indian national flag on the surface of the moon.

Baby Fani: Odisha Newborn Named After Cyclone Fani
On today (3rd May 2019) morning a baby who shared her birth in Bhubaneswar with the landfall of Fani Cyclone off the coast of Odisha will share it's name too. A 32 year old woman who gave a birth to the baby girl at the Railway Hospital at 11:03 am and decided to name her baby as "Fani", after the cyclone.

The woman is a railways employee and she works as a helper at Coach Repair Workshop, Mancheswar. Now the doctors have said, both the child and mother are fine. The affect of Cyclone Fani, 3 people have died as barrelled into Odisha this morning, uprooting electricity poles and trees, and cut off power supply in many parts of the state.

After a hours Arvind Kejriwal mocked what he called the BJP's attempts to buy AAP leaders, one of his party lawmakers in Delhi joined the ruling BJPs party. Anil Bajpayi, the Aam Aadmi Party lawmaker from the Gandhi Nagar seat in Delhi, today (03-05-2019) joined the BJP in the presence of Union Minister Vijay Goel.

After joined, Anil Bajpayi said, that he worked with the AAP for many years. I was hurt by the lack of respect and the strange functioning of the AAP. It has attractive attention from it's original path.

Test Ranking: India were continue to be the number 1 spot in Test side after the annual update on 2nd May 2019 (Thursday) in which series results from 2015-2016 are removed and outcomes from 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 are weighted at 50%. India were number 1 in the test ranking with 116 points and New Zealand on 108 points with second position.

ODIs Ranking: In ODIs ranking, England have retained the No. 1 spot with 123 points and India were ranking in second position with 121 points. South Africa have overtaken New Zealand into 3rd place while another change in positions sees the West Indies moving ahead of Sri Lanka to 7th position.

T20 Ranking: India have dropped 3 places and now spot 5th in the expanded men's Twenty20 International team rankings with 260 points while Pakistan have retained the No. 1 position with 286 points, according to the latest list issued by the ICC on today (3rd May 2019).

In every year 3rd May is organized as World Press Freedom Day. In December 1993, it was emphasized by the UN General Assembly, which following the recommendation of UNESCO's General Conference. Since then, May 3rd is the anniversary of the Declaration of Windhoek is celebrated worldwide as "World Press Freedom Day".

The World Press Freedom Day is an opportunity to celebrate the fundamental principles of press freedom and pay tribute to journalists who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The 26th celebration of World Press Freedom Day is jointly organized by the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the African Union Commission and UNESCO.
