Legendary Bengali Actor Chinmoy Roy Dies At 79
The Chinmoy family sources said, the Legendary Bengali film actor Chinmoy Roy who known for his excellence in comic roles has died after suffering a heart attack. He was 79 and died at around 10:20 pm on Sunday (17th March 2019) at his residence. Chinmoy Roy was Born in Comilla in 1940, now in Bangladesh, He began his career with Bengali group theater before debuting in films in 1966 with Tapan Sinha's cult movie Galpo Holeo Sotyi.

He carved a niche in Bengali comedy genre by playing memorable roles in movies like Dhanyi Meye, Subarno Golok, Nanigopaler Biye, Basanta Bilap, Mouchak. In 1978 film Charmurti, Chinmoy Roy also acted in Satyajit Ray's classic Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne and earned plaudits for his role of the fictional character Tenida.

After successfully launching it's first commercial crew capsule 'Crew Dragon', to the ISS (International Space Station), Elon Musk owned SpaceX has completed heat-shield tests for it's much awaited Star-ship rocket. Star-ship is a big Falcon Rocket which is a fully reusable and privately funded launch vehicle and spacecraft system.

Musk tweeted on Sunday (17th March 2019) along with a short video of white glowing hexagonal sheets that was eventually protect the craft from searing heat. Musk to a user, he confirmed that the tiles had passed the tests throughout full duration and that the hottest parts of the heat-shield reached a maximum temperature of around 1,375 degrees Celsius.

The New York Times reported on Sunday (17th March 2019), More than a year before the killing of Jamal Khashoggi journalist, Saudi Arabia's powerful Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved a secret campaign to silence dissenters.

The campaign included kidnapping, surveillance, torture of Saudis and detention said the report which cited United States officials who have read classified intelligence reports about the effort. The senators explained by the heads of United States intelligence agencies said, they were convinced that Prince Mohammed bin Salman was responsible for the Khashoggi killing.

The Indian Navy major combat units including the Carrier Battle Group with nuclear submarines, INS Vikramaditya and scores of other ships. The Navy also said, the aircraft and submarines swiftly transited from exercise to operational deployment mode as tensions between India and Pak increased. Manohar Parrikar To Be Given State Funeral Today (18th March 2019)
On Sunday (17th March 2019), Goa CM and former Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar aged 63 who had been battling cancer for more than a year, died at his home in Panaji. His body will be kept at the BJPs head office in state capital in the morning where people will pay their final respects to him from 11:00 am to 04:00 pm at Kala Academy.

The Manohar Parrikar funeral procession will begin at 04:00 pm and the last rites will performed at 05:00 pm at SAG grounds in Campal, approximately 4km from Panaji. Following the death of Goa CM Manohar Parrikar, the Centre has announced a national mourning today (18th March 2019) and declared the National Flag will fly at half mast across the country. After the death of Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar, 7 days of State Mourning will be observed throughout Goa from March 18th to 24th.

The state media, China has suspended a world silver medalist high jumper who known for his flamboyant twerking celebrations, after he broke the country's strict rules on commercial activities. Zhang Guowei said, that he was still fighting on the front lines of the national team although his suspension from all competitions.

Xinhua news agency reported said, the CAA (Chinese Athletic Association) punished the 27 years old for attending 2 commercial events in late February 2019 and early March 2019, without getting permission. The Chinese Athletic Association did not specify the length of the suspension.

For allegedly defaming the country's prime minister, Bangladeshi authorities have arrested a senior member of football world governing body FIFA. The BBC reported on 17th March 2019, A FIFA Council member Mahfuza Akhter Kiron was arrested after she had said that PM Sheikh Hasina was neglecting football.

A defamation claim was then filed by a local sport official against FIFA official, accused that the comments embarrassed the entire nation. Her lawyer Liakat Hossain said, on Saturday (16th March 2019) Mahfuza Akhter Kiron was denied bail and sent to jail.
