On Wednesday (13th March 2019), Astronauts who survived an failed Soyuz launch said, that they were sure about their upcoming flight to the International Space Station (ISS) although some last minute malfunctions.

On Today (14th March 2019, Thursday), United States astronauts Nick Hague and Christina Koch and Russian cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin are scheduled to travel to the International Space Station (ISS) from Russia's Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, 5 months after the 2 men were forced to make an emergency landing shortly after a blastoff. 

It was the first accident in Russia's post Soviet history. The October scheduled was abort which is caused by a sensor damaged during a rocket's assembly.

The NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine told lawmakers, that the Space Launch System (SLS) is struggling to meet it's schedule and won't be ready in time for a first un-manned mission around the Moon and back, dubbed EM-1 and set for June 2020.

Azim Premji Gives Shares Worth 7.5$ Billion to Charity
The billionaire chairman of Indian conglomerate Wipro Ltd., Azim Premji will give a further 34% of shares in the company worth 7.5 billion dollars to support philanthropic activities. It was the most generous donation in Indian history. The foundation said in a statement on Wednesday (13-03-2019), The shares held by companies controlled, Premji have been more than adjacent renounced and earmarked to the Azim Premji Foundation. 

With this action, the total value of the philanthropic endowment corpus contributed by Mr. Azim Premji is 21$ billion, which includes 67 percent of economic ownership of Wipro. His foundation works directly in education and supports over 150 other non profits serving under marginalized and privileged Indians through multi year financial grants. The foundation set up the Azim Premji University to create professionals in education and related to human development domains which offer education programs, conduct research and degree.

To Finalize Setting Up Of Kartarpur Corridor, India & Pakistan Officials Meet
On Thursday (14th March 2019), officials said, a meeting between officials of India and Pak to finalize the modalities for setting up of a corridor linking the Gurdaspur district in Punjab commenced in Punjab's Attari with Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistani town of Kartarpur. They said, that the talks are being held at the Indian side of Attari-Wagah border. 

It was the first meeting between officials of India and Pakistan to discuss about the Kartarpur corridor issue. Also among heightened tensions between the 2 nations over the Pulwama terror attack and followed by India's pre-emptive air strike on Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) camps in Balakot and Pakistan's successive retaliation.
