To North Korea, Donald Trump Says a Talks "Productive", Summit will be in Hanoi
On Friday (8th February 2019), President Donald Trump said, that the US diplomats had a "very productive meeting" with North Korean officials. He also announced his summit would be held in Vietnam's capital, Hanoi later this month with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

After a very productive meeting, my representatives have just left North Korea and an agreed upon date and time for the 2nd Summit with Kim Jong Un. Trump said on twitter, the summit will take place in Hanoi, Vietnam on 27 & 28th February.

Over the controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill, PM Modi kicked off his 2 day tour of the Northeast last evening amid angry protests. Activists greeted the Prime Minister Narendra Modi with black flags and slogans of "Narendra Modi, Go Back" with several civil society groups across the Northeast, including the all Assam Students Union, deciding to intensify their ongoing rebel today (9th February 2019). 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off his 2 days tour of the Northeast by visiting Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura and Assam. At around 10:00 am, Modi will lay the foundation of a greenfield airport at Hollongi in Arunachal Pradesh's Parum Pare district.

Gujarat BJP president Jitu Vaghani said she quit the Congress due to in-fighting and that Ms Patel joined the BJP as part of a "deal". He also said, we welcome Ashaben in our BJPs party. There is no question of any deal between the BJP and Asha. Our party never pleasures in horse trading. Ms Patel has joined the BJP to serve the people in a better way.

Olympic and World Championship silver medalist Indian Women's Badminton player P. V. Sindhu has signed a whopping 4 years sports sponsorship deal worth of Rs. 50 crore with Chinese sports brand Li-Ning.

This record deal comes after a compatriot Indian Men's Badminton player Kidambi Srikanth was offered a worth of Rs. 35 crore over a period of 4 years by the Chinese company last month. Sindhu's sponsorship deal is one of the biggest in world badminton. Mahender Kapoor, Director, Sunlight Sports Pvt Ltd, the multi-national exclusive partner of Li-Ning in India, told PTI, the 4 years sponsorship will be Rs. 40 Cr and equipment with be Rs. 10 Cr, so it is close to Rs. 50 crore.

On Friday (8th Feb 2019), Indian ODI Skipper Mithali Raj became the first woman to play 200 ODIs when she walked out for the toss against New Zealand Women in Hamilton. Unfortunately, she was dismissed by Leigh Kasperek for just 09 runs during her 200th ODI. Mithali Raj has already holds the record for the most capped women's cricketer in the history of the game and it was achieved on her 192 ODI match.

Previously, Charlotte Edwards' record 191 ODI of the career. Totally, India Women Cricket team have played 263 ODIs in their history. In that, Mithali Raj has now featured in 200 ODIs.

Indian T20 skipper Rohit Sharma was on a record breaking spree during the 2nd T20 International (T20I) between New Zealand and India in Auckland on 8th February 2019 (Friday). Rohit Sharma with 2288 runs overtook the New Zealand open batsman Martin Guptill who has 2272 runs to become the leading run scorer in the T20 format of the game. 

With Twenty 50+ scores in T20Is, Rohit Sharma now also holds the record for most such scores in T20Is history. His 50 in the 2nd T20 International helped him go past Virat Kohli who has 19 fifty-plus.

RBI Penalizes Corporation Bank & Allahabad Bank
The RBI (Reserve Bank of India) has imposed separate penalty fine on lenders Corporation Bank and Allahabad Bank over defects in complying with various regulatory norms. 

In a regulatory filing to the BSE on Friday (8th February 2019), the Allahabad Bank said that the RBI has imposed a penalty of Rs. 1.5 crore for not monitoring the end use of funds, delay in reporting and classification of fraud and non adherence with guidelines of RBI during re-structuring of bank accounts in the respect of one of it's borrowers.

In December Quarter, UCO Bank Reports Rs. 998 Crore Loss
As bad loans and provisions ballooned, the state owned UCO Bank on Friday (8th February 2019) reported a marginal drop in net loss of Rs. 998.74 crore for the 3rd quarter ended 31st December 2018. Previously the bank had posted a net loss of Rs. 1016.43 crore in the same quarter of the previous finance.

The UCO bank's MD & CEO A. K. Goel said, that the nevertheless the poor show, our bank is hoping to be back in black by the 3rd quarter of 2019-2020 and the journey of the turnaround could be visible as early as the March quarter of the current finance. The UCO bank said in a regulatory filing, the total income of the UCO bank also came down to Rs. 3585.56 crore during Oct-Dec period of 2018-2019, as against Rs. 3721.93 crore in same quarter of 2017-2018.

A restaurant in Hyderabad has robots as receptionist & waiters they serve food to the customers and also they interact with the customers in English and Telugu. The robot restaurant located in Hyderabad's Jubliee Hills, it has become the "talk of the town" now. Customers walking into the restaurant are welcomed by a robot which seats the customer at their tables. A team of 4 robots take orders, serve meals and cocktails. A week before, the robot restaurant were opened in Chennai.

In Odisha, Indigenously Developed Missile System Successfully Flight Tested
On Friday (8th February 2019), the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) was successfully flight tested the 2nd indigenously developed "Solid Fuel Ducted Ramjet (SFDR)" propulsion based missile system in Odisha.

A Defence statement said, that the success of SFDR propulsion technology is a notable milestone and will pave the way for development of long range air to air missiles in the country. They also said, that the ground booster, nozzle less booster and separation of ground booster performance were found satisfactory during the trial test conducted in the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur in Balasore district.

Every year, on February 9th will be conducted as National Pizza Day. Pizza is a confectionery dish of Italian origin, consisting of a usually round (Small/ Medium/ Large), flattened base of leavened wheat based dough topped with cheese, tomatoes, chicken, onion and various other ingredients baked at a high temperature, traditionally in a wood fired oven.
