UP Government Presents Rs. 4.79 Lakh Crore Budget
Today (7th February 2019, Thursday), the Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) government presented a Rs. 4.79 lakh crore budget for 2019-2020, and announced populist schemes ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Finance minister Rajesh Agarwal presented annual budget in state Assembly is 12%  higher than the 2018-2019 budget of Rs. 4,28,384.52 crore. 

The budget contains new schemes totaling Rs. 21,212.95 crore. This is the 3rd budget of the Yogi Adityanath government. CM Yogi Adityanath was present in the Assembly, when the finance minister Rajesh Agarwal read out the budget speech punctuated with Urdu couplets. Mr Rajesh Agarwal announced a number of new populist schemes, including "Kanya Sumangala Yojana" to raise educational standard and health of girls. An amount of Rs. 1,200 crore has been proposed for the Yojana.

SpaceX and NASA are now aiming of the first capsule from a private company designed to fly astronauts to the International Space Station for a March debut test. For the NASA's crew Dragon's inaugural test flight to the orbiting outpost, no one will be on board. 

The officials said on Wednesday (6th February 2019), set 2nd March as the latest launch date. If the demo goes well, then 2 NASA astronauts will take a test flight in July on this year aboard the SpaceX capsule. Since NASA's shuttle program ended in 2011, it would be the first launch of US astronauts into orbit from US soil. US President Donald Trump mentioned the upcoming milestone in Tuesday (5th February 2019) night's State of the Union address.

For Congested Areas, Delhi Government Launches 16 Bike Ambulances
To ensure health assistance reaches on time in the congested areas of the national capital, Delhi government has launched bike ambulance services. The bike ambulances which will be called as "First Responder Vehicles". 

It will have a first aid kit, dressing materials, portable oxygen cylinder, air-splints, communication device and a GPS. New Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister Satyendar Jain launched the fleet of 16 bikes ambulances at Delhi Secretariat. The bike ambulances will benefit JJ clusters and congested areas in East Delhi (North East, East and Shahdara).

Prime Minister Modi today (7th February 2019) met visiting Bangladesh Foreign Affairs Minister AK Abdul Momen and said, New Delhi will work to build on this momentum to relations between the 2 neighbouring countries have been on an upward trajectory. 

PM Narendra Modi congratulated AK Abdul Momen on his appointment as Foreign Minister and also appreciated his gesture of selecting India as the destination for his first international visit. According to an official statement, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on recent developments in the bilateral relationship.
