SpaceX Launch Vehicle Certification to be Reviewed by US Pentagon
According to a memo on Monday (11th Feb 2019), The Pentagon will validate the certification for Elon Musk's SpaceX launch vehicles to determine whether the United States Air Force complied with certain guidelines.

Michael Roark, US Department Of Defense Deputy Inspector General said in the memo, Our objective is to determine whether the United States Air Force complied with the Launch Services New Entrant Certification Guide when certifying the launch system design for the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle class Falcon Heavy launch vehicles and SpaceX Falcon 9. Then the review will begin this month.

Next Week, Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman to Visit India
Defence, energy and trade security are expected to be high on the agenda when Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Defence Minister Mohammed bin Salman holds talks with PM Narendra Modi during his 2 days visit to India next week.

The Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement, together by a high level group comprising ministers, leading Saudi businessmen and senior officials, Prince Salman will arrive India on 19th February 2019 on his first trip to the country. During the visit, the Crown Prince will hold talks with Prime Minister Modi on wide range of issues of mutual interest. He will also call on Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and President Ram Nath Kovind.

Maharashtra to Draw 2000 Crores from Contingency Fund to Tackle Drought
On Tuesday (12th February 2019), the Maharashtra government decided to draw Rs. 2000 crore from the state contingency fund for undertaking drought relief measures. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was taken the decision at the state Cabinet meeting. To support the drought affected people, it is a temporary arrangement made from time to time to draw funds. 

A government official said, the funds will be used for basic support such as supplying water tankers and other programmes to be undertaken to tackle water scarcity till June. The Cabinet also cleared the proposals to increase the funding for cotton mills in the Maharashtra state.

On Today (12th February 2019) Gordon Banks aged 81, the World Cup winning England goalkeeper who was also known for blocking a shot from Pele was died, he was consider to be the greatest save in football history.

For England, Gordon Banks won 73 caps between 1963 to 1972 and made nearly 200 appearances for Stoke, due to a car crash his playing career was brought to an end that cost him the sight in one eye.

Each & Every 12th February is a National Freedom to Marry Day. This is an unofficial holiday, but it is most popular among same sex couples. In 1999, the holiday was founded and introduced by Lambda Legal. This law firm advocates rights of lesbian, gay, transgender and bisexual communities as well as people living with AIDS/ HIV.

The most notable holiday was in 2004, when the County and City of San Francisco began issuing marriage licenses to same sex couples. These changes were made by the mayor Ganiv Newsom, who was asked his clerk to change the documents and forms used to apply for issue marriage licenses and that would provide the same sex marriage on a non-discriminatory basis.
