On Monday (11th February 2019), Thailand's Election Commission dis-qualified the sister of the king from running for PM on 11 Feb 2019 (Monday), after King Maha Vajiralongkorn called the bid in-appropriate, ending a short-lived, stunning candidacy for a populist party.

The Thai election commission released the official list of parties candidates for PM without the name of Princess Ubolratana aged 67 the older sister of the king. The princess Ubolratana had accepted the nomination of Thai Raksa Chart party and made up of supporters of ousted ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra.

On 11th February 2019 (Monday), US negotiators were in Beijing for a new round of high stakes trade talks, hoping to reach a deal before the deadline of 1st March 2019 which is set by Donald Trump as the IMF warned of a possible global economic storm.

Preliminary discussions had been expected to start on today (Feb 11, 2019) itself, according to the White House, before United States Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin step in for the main event on Thursday and Friday.

British trade commissioner to South Asia Crispin Simon has said, that the India and the UK Trade relations is not likely to be affected after Brexit. Bilateral trade between India and Britain stands at 25 billion USD.  Simon told PTI, After Brexit, India is an important trading partner and it is not to be affected.

He also said, that the Britain had been allowed to establish new trading arrangements outside the EU following Brexit. The bilateral trade between India and Britain was growing at 17% per annum. Simon said, there is demand for green finance in India.

Today (11th February 2019, Monday), PM Narendra Modi visited Vrindavan and served food to underprivileged school children's. At Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir campus, PM also released a ceremonial plaque to mark the serving of "3rd billionth meal" by Akshaya Patra Foundation.

The PM Modi will serve food to about 20 school children from underprivileged background in the campus, marking the 3 billionth meal offered by the head of strategic communications Akshaya Patra, Naveena Neerada Dasa in ISKCON.

Yet girls and women continue to be excluded from participating fully in science. At now, less than 30% of researcher's worldwide are women. Based on the UNESCO data fro 2014 to 2016, only around 30% of all female students select STEM-related fields in higher education.

Globally, the female students enrollment is particularly low in ICT (3%), in engineering, manufacturing and construction (8%) and natural science, mathematics and statistics (5%).
