Former Odisha Minister Chaitanya Prasad Majhi Dies At Age 90
Today morning (28th Jan 2019, Monday), former Odisha minister and Veteran tribal leader Chaitanya Prasad Majhi died at a hospital in Bhubaneswar for brief illness. His family said, that the Chaitanya Prasad aged 90 was admitted to the Capital Hospital in the state where he breathed his last. 

Chaitanya Prasad Majhi is survived by wife and 4 daughters, including Sarojini Hembram who was BJD Rajya Sabha member. A main tribal leader from Mayurbhanj district, Mr Chaitanya had wrote some books on tribal language and culture. There are lot of distinguished persons and political parties, including CM Naveen Patnaik, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal was condoled Mr. Chaitanya death.

On Sunday (27th January 2019), Saina Nehwal won the Indonesia Masters title when Carolina Marin retired hurt during the first game of the final. At the time of injury, Spanish player Marin was leading by 10-4. Carolina Marin had suffered an injury in her right thigh, which redundant to a point where she had to leave the finals midway. 

After clinched the title, Saina Nehwal said, "It's an important year for all of us. This was not good at all. Marin is a tough competitor and she started well and it is unfortunate what happened today (27th Jan 2019)." On Saturday (26th January 2019), Saina Nehwal had won in the semi-final and enter into women's singles final after beat China's He Bingjiao by 18-21, 21-12, 21-18.

The scientists said, NASA's Mars Opportunity rover that went into the hibernation on last June 2018, after a massive dust storm blocked a sunlight from reaching it's solar panels to generate power, that effect might have rover died. 

The NASA's Mars Opportunity's last communication with Earth was received on 10th June 2018. After a planet wide dust storm blocked the solar powered rover's on the western rim of Perseverance Valley. Eventually blocking out so much sunlight that the rover could no longer charge it's batteries. Then the 15 years old NASA's rover has not communicated with Earth since now.

According to Ministry of Human Resource Development, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0 is a unique interaction where students, teachers, parents and the PM Modi will come together to discuss the issues which is related to the exams and the stress connected to that. For the first time, students from all over India (includes 24 States and Union Territories) and also Indian students residing abroad are participating. The Indian students from abroad include from countries like Nigeria, Russia, Iran, Doha, Nepal, Kuwait, Singapore and Saudi Arabia.

India Clinch the Series With 2 Matches to Spare Against New Zealand
In the India tour to New Zealand series, India beat New Zealand in 3rd ODI and clinch the series with 2 matches to spare. Rohit Sharma (62, 77 balls) and Virat Kohli (60, 74 balls) scored half centuries and make a 100 runs partnership stand for the 2nd wicket to help India outclass New Zealand by 7 wickets to take an series 3-0 in the 5 match ODI series at Bay Oval today (28th January 2019). 

After won the toss and choose to bat, New Zealand were bowled out for 243 in 49th overs in the 3rd ODI. In the 2nd wicket partnership, Indian skipper Kohli and Rohit Sharma adding 113 runs to set up the victory in only 43rd overs. This was Rohit's 39th half century and Kohli's 49th half century in ODIs.
