The Valentine's Day was rebranding as Sister's Day by Pakistani university. They were debating marking the holiday seen as a western import by shawls and handing out headscarves to its female students. The Agriculture University in Faisalabad in central Punjab province said, that the change was taken to promote the eastern culture and Islamic traditions among the youngsters. 

UAF vice chancellor Zafar Iqbal quoted on their institutions website, in our culture, women are more empowered and earn their due respect as mothers, sisters, wives and daughters. He also said, that the western culture was taking root in our society and our own culture were forgetting.

For his leadership and selfless service to the country, Prime Minister Modi was awarded with the first ever Philip Kotler Presidential award in New Delhi on 14th January 2019 (Monday). The Philip Kotler Presidential award focuses on the triple bottom line of "people, profit and planet''. 

The Prime Minister's office said, that the award will be given annually to the leader of a nation. Philip Kotler is a professor of marketing at Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. Due to his ill health, Jagdish Sheth of Emory University, Georgia was deputed to confer the award on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After Successful Chang'e 4 Lunar Probe Landing, China Collect Samples from Moon this Year
On Monday (14th January 2019), a space official said, that the china will launch a probe to collect samples from the moon at the end of this year, weeks after Beijing hailed the successful touch down on the far side of the moon. On Jan 3rd 2019, the Chang'e-4 lunar probe landed and send the first ever close range image of the far side of the moon. 

The Chang'e 5 mission now set to collect samples from the near side of the moon and it will be carried out at the end of this year. Wu Yanhua, deputy head of the space administration told, according to an official online transcript, another probe will be sent to Mars by 2020.
