The chief of ISRO said Today (11th Jan 2019, Friday), India has target to sending astronauts to space by 2021 December. The rave 'Gaganyaan' project by the ISRO's space agency will help India become the 4th nation to send humans independently to space.

K Sivan said, that the India's 2nd moon mission, 'Chandrayaan 2' is planned for the middle of April this year 2019. Last year PM Narendra Modi was announced the 'Gaganyaan' project on Independence Day and he said, a daughter or son of India will go to the space by 2022.

In New Delhi from Friday (11th January 2019), the BJP is expected to set the agenda of its campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections at a 2 day meeting of its National Council with the party likely to highlight the welfare measures of the PM Modi government target at social justice and development of all.

The BJP meeting was attended by 12,000 representatives including leaders from districts and MPs, MLAs at the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi. It will be inaugurated by BJP president Amit Shah. PM Narendra Modi will attend the deep on both days and will deliver the concluding speech in the meeting. This meeting will be the last one before the upcoming Lok Sabha election and it will also be the largest meeting of the BJP's National Council.

On January 3rd, 2019, the 'Chang'e 4' mission which was named after a moon goddess is made the world's 1st soft landing on the moon's far side.

It was a major step in China's goal to become a space super power. A China's space rover dubbed 'Yutu 2', the name of the moon goddess's pet 'Jade Rabbit' was successfully separated from the lander and drove onto the far side of the moon's surface on Thursday (10th January 2019).

A camera deployed on 'Chang'e 4' and took a photo that was released by the CNSA (China National Space Administration) on today (January 11th, 2019).

The Union minister Nitin Gadkari said today (11-1-2019), the Indian government has given special attention to stop unutilized water which is allotted to India under the "Indus Waters Treaty" from entering Pakistan.

The minister of river development, Ganga plants and water resources signed an MoU with 6 chief ministers for the construction of 'Renukaji Multi Purpose Dam' project in Upper Yamuna Basin today (Friday, 11th Jan 2019).

The agreement was signed with CM Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan, Yogi Aditynath of Uttar Pradesh (UP), Trivendra Singh Rawat of Uttarakhand, Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi, Jairam Thakur of Himachal Pradesh and Manohar Lal of Haryana.

By the National Mission for Clean Ganga, Dilip Pormal from Prayagraj and Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam Water Pvt Ltd, the another agreement also signed for 'Namami Gange' projects in Allahabad under One City One Operator concept and Hybrid Annuity Mode.
