Across more countries, Migration is now more widely distributed. One of every 10 migrants is under the age of 15. Today the top ten countries of destination receive a smaller share of all migrants than in 2000. The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) adopted a set of commitments during its first ever summit on large movements of refugees and migrants to enhance its protection on 19th September 2016.

Every year on 18th December, UN Arabic Language Day is observed. The Arabic Language Day event was established in 2010 by UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). 

This event organized to sought "to celebrate multilingualism and cultural diversity and to promote equal use of all six of its official working languages to whole the organization". In 18th December 1973, the General Assembly approved Arabic as an official UN language. So that day was celebrated as Arabic Language Day.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) flew a first experimental test pilots and test engineer of AN-32 military transport aircraft using blended bio jet fuel. This was happened on Monday (17th December 2018) morning at Chandigarh. 

This project is a combined effort of the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), IAF, CSIR Indian Institute of Petroleum and Directorate General Aeronautical Quality Assurance (DGAQA). At the republic day of India (26th January 2019), IAF intends to fly the AN-32 transport aircraft using bio jet fuel.

The ruling BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has declared their total income of over Rs. 1000 crore in 2017-2018 spending more than Rs. 750 Cr in the year. The expenditure and income of the National Congress party (INC) is not known as the party and is yet to submit its audited reports to the Election Commission. 

On Monday (17th December 2018), according to the official report by election watchdog Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) released the BJP's total income of Rs. 1,027.339 Cr of 2017-18 and Communist Pary of India-Marxist (CPI-M) at Rs. 104.847 Cr and the Mayawati led BSP income of Rs. 51.694 Cr in the year.

For Drought Relief Work, Gujarat Requested Rs. 1725 Crore from Centre
From Centre, the Gujarat Government has sought a financial assistance of Rs. 1725 Cr to carry out relief works in the wake of drought in parts of the state. Senior administrative officer Pankaj Kumar said, at the time of central team visited Gujarat to assess the water scarcity situation that has arise due to scanty rainfall this monsoon, the demand was put forward.

He said the 9 member from central team had visited Morbi, Kutch, Banaskantha, Surendranagar Districts of Gujarat and Patan during the 3 day tour. The Gujarat Government estimates suggest of Rs. 2902 Crore would be needed to carry out various relief works in the drought affected regions, told by Mr. Kumar.

On Monday (December 17, 2018), the Israeli scientists making final preparations of launching the country's first spacecraft to the moon which is added a special passenger that will accompany the journey.

A time capsule of 3 digital discs holds thousands of files was ceremoniously placed within the space pod by organizers wearing white dust coat at the plant where it is being tested and constructed.

They included pictures of Israeli symbols like the flag, drawings by children, Israeli songs and a booklet written by a Jewish man of his personal account of the Holocaust. The launch will be happened from Cape Canaveral in the United States (US) and the cost of this project is $95 million.

On Today (18th December 2018, Tuesday), the Mumbai Indian appointed Zaheer Khan former Indian pacer as their Director of Cricket Operations. The Mumbai Indians made this announcement through an official press release which is happened today (18th Dec 2018).

According to the press release, Zaheer Khan will also be present in the IPL Auction 2019 along with Mumbai Indians owners Akash Ambani and Nita Ambani. For upcoming season, Mumbai Indians have retained 18 players. They have won the IPL title at 3 times on 2013, 2015 and 2017.
