Facebook Agreed to Pay $100 Million in Italian Fiscal Accord
Italian tax authorities said on Thursday (22nd Nov 2018), the social media giant FB (Facebook) has agreed to pay $114 million (Roughly Rs. 800 Cr) to end a fiscal fraud dispute. 

From Apple, Google and Amazon, Italy has already received a similar agreements to joining EU neighbors seeking a bigger tax. 

The Amazon agreed a deal last December 2017, similarly last May Google was agreed to pay EUR 306 Million. Then Apple also agreed to make payment of more than 300 million in December 2015.

UP Govt Approves Rs. 1,260 Cr for Jewar Airport Land Acquisition
To Acquisition a land for Jewar airport in Gautam Buddh Nagar, the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Government has approved a fund of Rs. 1260 Cr. To develop the Greenfield international airport, there are total of 5000 hectare land is required and the cost to develop the airport is Rs. 15,000 Cr to 20,000 Cr. 

The first phase of the airport will starts from National Capital Region (NCR) with 1334 hectare land and then 1239 hectare land from Dayanatpur, Rohi, Kishorpur, Parohi, Banwariwas and Ranhera. Finally, in the financial year of 2018-19, the Governor has approved sanction of Rs. 1259 Cr for acquisition of land for Jewar Airport.

The Samsung Electronics apologized on Friday (23-11-2018) to staff's who got Cancer after working at it semi-conductor factories. The official said, around 80 of them dying and about 240 people's have suffered from work related illnesses after working at Samsung semi-conductor and LCD factories. 

Firm's Co-president Kim Ki-nam said, we have failed to manage proper health risks at our Display and semi conductor factories. We sincerely apologize to the staff's and families who suffered from illness, said by Samsung Electronics. Earlier this month under a deal announced by the Samsung Electronics, they will pay the compensation of up to $133,000 per case for group's employees.

By October 2019, Delhi to Get 1000 New Air Conditioned Buses.

On Thursday (22nd Nov 2018), the Delhi cabinet granted administrative approval for purchasing 1000 low floor air conditioned buses for NCR. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said, in the meeting chaired by CM Arvind Kejriwal, the Cabinet set Oct 2019 as the deadline for arrival of the air conditioned buses. He said, the air conditioned buses will starts in different lots from July 2019 and it will be on road from Oct 2019.

First Undersea Tunnel for High Speed Trains in China

The official said on Friday (23/11/2018), China is set to build their first undersea tunnel for high speed trains in Zhejiang province. The undersea area project is set to cover 16.2 km by nearly cover 70 km between Ningbo and Zhoushan. 

The train will designed to run at 250 km per hour. So it will reduce the journey time from 1.5 hours. In China, they high speed train lines cover some 25,000 km in the country. It equivalent to 60% of the world total.
